Q. How can I place a hold on a book in the library's collection?

You can place a hold on any book, video, etc. (except for library-use-only and reserve items).

• Find the item you want in the Library Catalog.
• Click on the Place Hold button.

• You will be asked to log in with your Edgewood username and password.
• Click the Place Hold button on the next screen.

How will I know if my book is ready for checkout?

• You will receive an email when your material is ready to be picked up.
• You can also check on the status of your hold by logging in to your Library Catalog Account.
